Even though he’s wanted by the government to some people Snowden is a hero. Edward Snowden who was born in North Carolina but later mover to Massachusetts had dropped out of of high school but was no degenerate. A bad case of mononucleosis kept him out of school for 9 months so instead of falling behind he decided that he would drop out.
So there you have it: hero or traitor. Take your pick. What is clear is that Snowden pulled back the curtain on new reality of living within a fishbowl of constant surveillance.
In summer 2013, a young person called Edward Snowden made the most significant leak of secrets in modern history.. In order to announce a fair verdict in the Snowden case and decide whether he is a traitor or a hero, it seems necessary to display both points of views, list the benefits and the damages of the leak, and then make the decision.

Perhaps most concerning about all of this is that so much of the American public has bought into the government's pursuit of Snowden. According to a recent Angus Reid Global online poll 51 percent of Americans viewed Snowden akin to a hero, and 49 percent akin to a traitor. Much of the disdain for Snowden is attributed to the fact that he left the United States fearing punishment for his actions.
